Konark
The Sun Temple, also known as the Konark Temple, is the primary attraction of Konark. Built in the 13th century, the temple is dedicated to the Sun God, Surya. It is an architectural marvel and is known for its exquisite stone carvings and intricate artwork. The temple is designed in the shape of a colossal chariot with intricately carved wheels, pillars, and walls. Unfortunately, the main structure of the temple is in ruins, but the surviving parts showcase the grandeur and craftsmanship of the bygone era.
